Cannot record in Rekordbox 7.09 - red light with padlock
Hi there,
I have been trying to read a lot online to try and resolve my issue, but am not having any luck. I just bought a new Macbook so have updated my rekordbox version to 7.09. I've gone to try and record a set, but am struggling to activate recording mode. When I connect my DJM 900 NXS mixer to rekordbox (in performance mode) - I noticed a padlock with a red light behind the recording button. Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix, so that I can start recording sets? Even a step-by-step guide of any settings I may need to change so that the recording mode can function as it should.

To record in Performance Mode, you would need to have a paid plan activated.
But you can record for free in Export Mode with the mixer connected via USB cable.
You would need to have the audio driver fro the mixer installed and select USB input for the recording.
