DJ controller lagging – any solutions?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been running into some lag issues with my DJ controller lately. There’s a noticeable delay when mixing, and it’s really throwing off the timing during transitions. The software I’m using is Rekordbox, and the problem seems to happen more often when I load new tracks or use effects.

For reference, I’m using a Core i3 laptop to run Rekordbox. I’ve already reduced background processes and tried adjusting the audio buffer size, but the lag is still there. Has anyone experienced this kind of issue or found any effective workarounds?
