Curious FX Issue on DJM-900NXS2 - Effects Still Active When Fully Cut and OFF

Hello Pioneer DJ Forum, I've encountered a curious issue with my DJM-900NXS2 and I'm hoping someone might have some insight. When the Beat FX level/depth knob is turned fully counter-clockwise (completely cut) and the blue "ON/OFF" button for the Beat FX is switched OFF, I'm still hearing the selected effect subtly present in the audio. This seems unexpected as I would assume that with both the level fully down and the FX unit turned off, no effect should be audible. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Could this be a setting I'm overlooking, or potentially a hardware issue? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
