Continous play for ipad?

I feel like im going crazy. Is there no option for continous play on the ipad? I see it for mobile phone (iphone), but cannot figure out how to auto/continue play a playlist on the ipad. 

Long story short. I teach indoor cycle classes. I map my song intervals using rekordbox and the hot cues. Would love to just prop my ipad up on the handle bars and watch the waveform play. the issue is, i dont always have time to manually press play to play the next track. 

dying to know if there is a way to enable continous play on ipad.
