Microphone Input Issue with DDJ-GRV6 in Rekordbox – No Signal via USB to Computer
Issue:
I have a problem with my DDJ-GRV6 controller in combination with Rekordbox and need some assistance. My microphone is not being recognized in Rekordbox, even though it’s connected directly to the controller.
Setup:
Controller: DDJ-GRV6
Connection: USB-C cable from controller to laptop
Microphone: Connected to the microphone input on the DDJ-GRV6
Speakers: Active speaker connected via Master 2 (RCA connection)
Problem:
The microphone doesn't send a signal to Rekordbox or other programs like OBS.
In Rekordbox's audio settings, there's no option for a microphone input.
The microphone itself works — I can hear my voice through the speaker connected to Master 2.
However, the microphone signal does not reach the computer via USB.
Troubleshooting Already Done:
✔️ Verified audio settings: The DDJ-GRV6 is selected as the audio device in Rekordbox.
✔️ Tried different USB ports.
✔️ The controller is recognized as an input device in the computer’s sound settings — but no mic signal appears.
✔️ Checked with system sound settings (Windows/macOS): The microphone shows up, but no input signal is detected.
✔️ Tried enabling the Mixer Panel in Rekordbox — but couldn't find microphone control.
Questions:
1. Is there any way to activate the microphone in Rekordbox so that it is sent to the computer via USB?
2. If the microphone is not routed via USB, what are the alternatives for live streams and recordings (e.g., with OBS)?
3. Can the microphone signal routing be changed in the driver settings so that it’s also sent to the computer?
