ddj800 wont turn on

long story short... ddj800 exactly one year old. 

it will not power on and i've tried unplugging/replugging the power cord.

however, several months ago my power cord was swapped in the dj booth so this is not the cord that came with the controller so it could be 4 years old.

just looking for some feedback, maybe its happened to one of you
