Rekordbox 7.2 changed behavior search function

Hi, I've been using my laptop to DJ and i noticed that with the new update the search function has changed. So here is a bit of information on how i use it:

  • I mostly just use browser view in Performance mode
  • I use the horizontal sub browser window
  • In the upper browser window i use the tree view
  • In the sub browser window I use the column view
  • Using a hotkey (Ctrl + F) to search for a track in my collection

So before when i pressed Ctrl + F it would only search in the upper browser window in the Collection tab.

Now if I press Ctrl + F it will switch the column view to the tree view in the sub browser window and search all the tracks in the sub browser view. This resets my settings for the column view and lose track of whatever playlist I was working in.

I prefer the old way because it essentially gave me 3 views to keep track of different playlists. The upper browser view could display a selected playlist and also the search query in the Collection tab. It would be possible to toggle between the two without losing track. And then I would use the sub browser view to work in other playlist ordered in maps.

So, is there a way to get this functionality back? Maybe by being able to toggle the All Playlist in the tree view.

Also, where can I download older versions of Rekordbox 7? I want to revert to Rekordbox 7.1.1 for now but I couldn't find the file anywhere on this site.

Thanks in advance!
