DDJ REV1 - NO AUDIO SOUND TO MASTER OUTPUT BUT AUDIO WORKS ON HEADPHONES

I have turnd up all the control knobs and faders but still no audio but  i can hear the audio from the  headphones meaning the master out through the aux doesnt work but works through the headphones. what could be the cause and has anyone experienced this before?
