DDJ REV1 vs Rekordbox

Hi, i wanna address the fact that the DDJ REV1 is a Pioneer product, and the Rekordbox software is also a Pioneer Product. I don't see the point as in why the two are incompatible. Like how hard it is for you guys to map a controller and make it compatible for a software. I want a rev 1 as i wanna learn scratch style djing, and also some features like the ability to use 4 decks are not available in DDJ FLX4 or any other pioneer equipment in this price range. Also Rekordbox is my First preference for a software and the fact that the controller i want and can afford is not compatible for the software i wanna use it with is really frustrating, even though both of them are from the same brand. I can increase my budget but the difference between the entery level controllers from pioneer and the next best thing is a GRV6 which is something i can't cover right now. Switching brands is an option but still i prefer not to. So i seriously need help with the issue.
