Suggestion for Continuous Play Enhancement – Silence Skip & Pause Control

Dear RekordboxTeam,

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the Continuous Play feature in your software. While it’s great to have automatic playback from track to track, it would be extremely useful to include:

1. Automatic skipping of silence at the beginning and end of tracks — to ensure smoother transitions and avoid dead air.

2. Optional pause duration control between tracks — allowing users to set a fixed pause time (e.g. 2s, 3s, ..) for those who prefer structured breaks between songs.

This would greatly benefit DJs preparing long-form playlists or background music programs, especially when mixing different genres and eras where silence gaps vary widely. Having consistent and clean transitions would elevate the listening experience and reduce manual editing.
