rekordbox glitching audio in performance mode

I'm on the latest version of rekordbox and using my XDJ AZ hooked up to my computer for streaming. The software will occasionally glitch the audio and go silent for half a beat. The waveform shows no information in that half a beat, but the issue does not persist in the audio file when I test it through a different software. Any idea what could be going wrong here?
