Moving rekordbox from laptop to mac studio
Hi all,
Hands up, there is unlikely a fix and its a start again process however, i thought i would ask.
My old laptop broke (Someone gave it a bath with a pint in a club), and in the short time i managed to access it, i backed up my library, I thought (thought being the operative word) I had moved my database to my external drive with all my songs on.
Now, I have imported it all to my mac at home and restored the library and replaced the database from the same external drive.
All songs work fine on the app on the mac, they export to usb fine, however, when exporting through Wifi to rekordbox IOS, the songs transfer to the collection along with the playlists, but when you open any playlists, they are blank.
Has anyone had this happen before? I have tried to remove all rekordbox instances from my iPad & mac and then started again with a blank library. I put a small playlist together in a new library and that exported to IOS fine but it seems to just be from my original library where it is happened.
Any help or ideas would be great.
Cheers
Mac os Sonoma 14.6.1
Rekordbox 7.1.4
Rekordbox Ios 4.5.0.50

I read a thread of somebody else with this issue. Don't think they solved it.
I made the switch my Windows to MacOS. One thing I did make sure I started with a clean app. So I cleared cache, data. Then tried the sync.
I know from my USB sticks that the database/library can sometimes get stubborn. So wiping every 6 months with heavy use helps reduce issues.
