DDJ-1000SRT recognition issues and board not leaving standby mode.
So my friend got a DDJ-1000SRT from guitar center, slightly used, and its having troubles connecting to any laptops or PC. We tried his PC, updated all his drivers and windows 10, made sure there was enough space to download the driver and firmware for the board. But it still says it can't recognise the board. Tried on my laptop and it says the same thing. I have a DDJ-SZ2 that I tried connecting and it connects fine and works. I saw a forum online on how to reset the controller but the videos I see have lights that light up after the rebooting process but mine stays on "standby" even after resetting it. Im not sure if it has to be out of standby mode to connect to the PC but I can't even download the firmware if thats whats needed to get it out of standby mode. Im running windows 11 on my devices and ive tried different USB A to B cables to try and see if it was the cord and still no luck. Is there a way to test out the USB A connection port to rule out the connection to the board being the issue? As I said we bought the board directly from guitar center and I dont think they'd ship a board with broken parts without saying it on the website. Please any help is greatly appreciated :)
