How Do You Integrate Enterprise Storage with Rekordbox DJ Setups?

Hi all,

I’m exploring ways to integrate enterprise storage solutions—like NAS (e.g. Synology, QNAP) or even SAN setups—into a DJ environment using Rekordbox.

The goal is to manage and access a large, centralized music library across multiple machines (DJ booths, studios, prep stations, etc.) using enterprise storage solutions, without having to constantly copy files manually. Ideally, the storage would be accessible over a local network, fast enough for real-time use, and maintain library consistency across devices.

Some specific questions I have:

• Has anyone used network storage with Rekordbox reliably?
• How do you deal with performance or latency issues?
• Are there any syncing or database consistency challenges?
• Do you map the NAS as a local drive or use cloud sync features?

Would love to hear what setups have worked for you—whether for live gigs, studio use, or collaborative DJ environments.
