Tips for a Smooth Workflow Using Pioneer Gear with a Windows Laptop

I’ve been refining my DJ setup lately and wanted to share something that’s worked well. I’m running rekordbox on a Windows laptop, and the overall experience has been smooth. The laptop easily manages my track library, handles waveforms clearly, and stays responsive when switching between decks or effects. Connecting it with my Pioneer controller feels seamless, and it’s been consistent during longer practice sessions.

One thing I’ve started experimenting with is adding an external display alongside the laptop for better visibility of track lists and mixing tools. It makes the workflow feel more organized, especially during extended sessions.

I’m curious—do others here keep their setups simple with just the laptop, or do you integrate extra screens and accessories? I’d like to learn how different people arrange their gear to make performing or practicing more comfortable.
