no sound through speakers only laptop

I am having the same problem as a lot of people. I have installed rekordbox 6  (wont let me download 7). I connect my RX3 with my Pioneer speakers (windows 11 laptop) and all i get is sound out of the laptop. Every time we try to add speakers its says fail. I have connected the speakers to the laptop and listened to other music and it comes out fine with the speakers. So there is a problem with Pioneer or Rekordbox. I have also seen from somebody else's problem, you say check that windows doesn't have the XZ assigned as the default audio device what does that mean because i don't know where that is? any help would be appreciated
