DDJ-FLX4 not unlocking Rekordbox 7.2.2 (still showing Trial version)
I’m using a DDJ-FLX4 with Rekordbox version 7.2.2, but it’s not unlocking properly.
Rekordbox stays in "Trial" mode even though the FLX4 should be a Hardware Unlock device.
Details:
- OS: [Windows 11 ]
- Rekordbox version: 7.2.2
- Controller: DDJ-FLX4 (connected via USB to computer port with PC icon)
- Tried: Restarting, different USB ports, launching Rekordbox before connecting, reinstalling drivers
- Still shows: "Trial Version"

That is normal.
DDJ-FLX4 is a hardware unlock device for rekordbox, which basically means it is a plug and play device.
So you just connect the controller and you can use it with rekordbox.
But that does not mean it activates a paid plan.
So you will be able to use it even after the trial expires by just connecting the controller, but it will show as Free Plan in rekordbox.
