every time I plug in my control to rekordbox it lights up the whole deck different colors the goes straight to flashing the quantize button in red. I'm trying to figure out if it's an issue from rekordbox or not?

If quatize button is flashing red, it is usually indicating an electrical issue with the controller.
We suggest having the controller inspected at a service center.
