DDJ-FLX4 CUE Problem
Hi, I'm having a configuration issue. I'm using Rekordbox, and I can toggle the Vinyl mode on and off. However, my CUE button still behaves as if I'm always in Vinyl mode. I would like it to respond as it does in CD mode instead. Many thanks!

Please make sure that vinyl mode is not activated in rekordbox.
Then it should be in CDJ mode and should work as expected.
Hi Gabriel;
that's what I found, thank you

The DDJ-FLX4 does not support stutter mode, even if you disable Vinyl mode.
Unlike professional CDJs like the CDJ-1000, which offer a true “CD mode” where pressing CUE while paused triggers a stutter loop (repeating the sound at the cue point), the FLX4 behaves differently:
• Vinyl mode ON: The jogwheel simulates vinyl behavior (scratching, backspins), and the CUE button only previews the cue point while held.
• Vinyl mode OFF: The jogwheel switches to pitch bend mode, but the CUE button behavior remains the same — it does not trigger a stutter loop when paused.
In short, disabling Vinyl mode does not enable CD-style stutter playback. The FLX4 lacks the firmware and hardware support to replicate that classic CDJ behavior.

Where did you find that statement?
