Hi, 

If I use my rekordbox account with a friend controller (e.g. an omnis-duo or an flx-4) will I be able to use all of the controller features? Or do I need a plan upgrade?

You will be able to use it with rekordbox if you connect a hardware unlock device. 

Both Omnis Duo and FLX4 are hardware unlock devics for rekordbox.
