Rev 7 Setting Utility

Rev 7 Setting Utility

I did a search but couldn’t find an answer, so hoping someone here can help.

I’m running Serato DJ Pro 4.0 on macOS Tahoe 26.1 with a MacBook Pro 16” M2 Max. On my Rev7, the only way I can get the waveforms to show on the onboard display is by keeping the utility software open in the background.

On my DJM-S11, the waveforms show without needing the utility software open at all — and the utility doesn’t detect the mixer anyway because of the macOS version I’m on.

Am I missing a setting or doing something wrong?

Ideally, I’d like the Rev7 to work like the S11 where I don’t need to keep the utility open.

Gabriel

Tahoe OS is not yet compatible with Serato or our products.

Rev 7 Utility software always need to be open since release on MacOS.  S11 does not need it open.  What I am asking is "Do I always need to run the utility to have the wave forms show?"  If yes, why can't it be the same as the S11.

*Please take the time to think about my question.  I know Tahoe is not officially working for Serato/Pio gear.  But this has been like this since Rev 7 release.

Regrettably, MacOS26 is not yet supported, hence it could be related.

It is recommended to downgrade to the previous version and wait for official information.
