Moving playlist (and contents/database) to external SSD

Hi,

I'd like to move a specific folder with my playlists (incl files, cuepoint etc) to an external SSD. I rarely use this folder, but i'd like to have access to it from time to time. Is this possible?

For example: The specific folder with my playlists in my main playlist tree, but selecting a track from a playlist from that specific folder will give an exclamation mark. This would mean it can't find the file. After connecting the external SSD and trying the same track again, RB would automatically find the file on the SSD. 

Does this mean i'd have to split my main database or do i find all the music files and dump that inside the ssd?
