After installing Driver, driver not installed

I tried connecting my Macbook to an XDJ-XZ at a party to play through Serato and had to install the driver.  After successfully downloading the driver the message window still appeared saying Driver Not Installed.  Tried going through the install process about 5 times and eventually gave up.  Can anybody please offer some assistance?  Thank you, -Phil
