HDJ-F10 with separately purchased HP-TX01 - only flashing blue

Hi,

i purchased a HDJ-F10 and a separate HP-TX01 sonic link receiver. I was able to establish a bluetooth connection to my iphone with no issues. When i tried to create a sonic link connection moved the slide up but still the light on the headphones was flashing blue and not white like it was supposed to be. the sonic link receiver was hooked up to a DDJ-flx10 and was flashing white. i did a hard reset of of the headphones but this did not help either. anybody experience a similiar issue ? what else can i do ? they are brand new so i assume there is warranty but i would like to avoid sending them in.
