Why are the General Rekordbox settings not set as a default for the device?

In RB, these are my settings:

I prefer the 3-band color, the waveform at the left, phase divisions, and alphanumeric keys.

I selected "apply settings on devices automatically."

The settings on the "My Settings" page are transferred to the device as expected.

Would it be possible to also apply the general settings to the device by default? Because I noticed this is what I see on the USB stick (freshly formatted):

Keeping the General preferences, and also setting them as a default for the device, makes more sense; rather than forcing the blue wave, center position, classical key ect. for every new device that's inserted in RB.

Certainly for DJs who know they will need to play with recent devices (e.g., the 3000X), it makes sense to keep the RB General preferences (3-band, left, phrase divisions, alphanumeric,... ), rather than having to set those again per device inserted.
