CDJ 3000X not connecting to XDJ-AZ via LAN

I have a CDJ-3000X that I am trying to connect to my XDJ-AZ via LAN connection.

I have attempted this multiple ways:

  • Directly connecting the CDJ to the AZ via a cat 6 Ethernet cable.
  • Connecting both to a gigabit Ethernet switch.
  • Using a USB-C to Ethernet adapter in the CDJ-3000X to connect directly to the AZ via cat 6 Ethernet cable; then also tried this with the switch.
  • I have tried all of these steps with the internal WiFi both on and off.

I have tried multiple cables. I confirmed these cables are not the problem by connecting my CDJ-3000 to the AZ, which worked just fine.

The green light on the Ethernet switch lights up when I plug in the cable from the 3000X to the switch.

None of these methods have worked. The CDJ-3000X does not get linked to the AZ. I cannot read the USB plugged into the AZ on the 3000X. I am able to plug in a USB directly to the 3000X, which works fine. I can also stream tracks from the cloud and streaming services fine.

I'm out of ideas here. Is this just likely a problem with the Ethernet port itself? Or am I missing something?

Hi there,

・Check if [PRO DJ LINK Mode] on the [UTILITY] screen is set to On.

・Check if [Player No.] on the CDJ's [UTILITY] screen is set to AUTO, 3, or 4.

For details, see the PRO DJ LINK Connection Guide [here].
