Can you combine cdj 3000 and cdj 2000 original (2009)?

Can you combine cdj 3000 and cdj 2000 original (2009)?

I´m wondering if it´s possible to link a cdj 2000 original (2009) and a cdj 3000 thru pro dj link? Does the usb link function work between the units, or could the system from the 2000´s be to old? Has anyone tried this combination and tell me if it works?

A LINK connection is possible, but since the CDJ-2000 is an older model than the CDJ-3000, problems may occur.
