DDJ-Flx4-hardware not connecting to Serato, keeps saying "Please try again"

I have made sure;

-all other apps closed

-no other items plugged in

-redownloads, restarts

Are you using Window 11? If yes, due to the installation of Windows Update KB5074105, software on the PC can no longer recognize MIDI devices connected via USB.

Please install KB5077181 by following the instructions provided at the link below:

If you are unable to install this update, please try the below.

  1. Disconnect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) from the PC.
  2. Restart the PC.
  3. Close all applications running on the PC.
  4. Connect the DJ unit (controller, all‑in‑one unit, mixer) to the PC.
  5. Launch only the DJ application.
