RMX Ignite - Sync Failed

I'm using the Ignite with the DJM-A9 Mixer and 4 x CDJ3000x

I have the ignite connected via USB into the Multi i/o port on the DJM-A9, and when I do so I get the "USB Connected, Mixer Delay Sync: On" notification on the Ignite display

I have the DJM and CDJ's playing via Rekordbox on the laptop, and when I play the Master CDJ Deck the Ignite Tempo syncs and the audio/echo also sounds in sync just fine

However, when I use the sample roll function on the Ignite then the Sync is noticeably off

I press SYNC on the Ignite hoping to resolve that, and get the error "Sync Failed", with the Sync button remaning off

Ethernet is conected okay to the Hub, light is on

Ignite is on latest Firmware v1.03, so too is the DJM-A9 and CDJ's on latest firmware

Any ideas?

Are all the units, (including Ignite) connected to a LAN hub and players and channels correctly.

The Ignite should follow the master deck, does the MASTER button illuminate when selected on a CDJ?

Are you using Link Export or Performance Mode with rekordbox?

Hi Lewis

All units are connected to the Hub, and the CDJ's player numbers assigned

All is operating on Pro-Link

CDJ master assigned, but the Ignite BPM is not following.. noticeable when applying Sample Rolls

The BPM on the Ignite matches the Master CDJ BPM, and the echo effects on the Ignits are in Sync with CDJ Master BPM

The sample roll sync is noticeably out, and I cannot activate the Sync button on the Ignite

Ok thanks for confirming.

What about the setup with regard to rekordbox? Are you connected via USB from the Mixer straight to computer?

To troubleshoot could you test with an exported USB drive in standalone?

Ronnie Whittaker

Yes I am connected to computer and mixer via USB

It works fine in standalone, so this is okay for me

Thank you
