Rekordbox (Cpter + CDJ) - Random tracks in playlists + intelligent playlists functionality expansion

Hi,

I have tried to figure out a way to randomize a number of tracks in an intelligent playlist in Rekordbox. That would include having multiple input, for example....

Let say I want to create a playlist of 20 random tracks that that have a play count higher than 3 and that is tagged "peak time". If there aren't that many tracks available on that criteria, then it would simply take all tracks available.

This could be useful in case I want to wing it one night, and I want to filter out and find a specific set of tunes that I rarely play, as an example.　

Also, I don't think the intelligent playlist / smart playlist would update automatically on a CDJ. But if a limited smart functionality were to be implemented on a CDJ, it could be used to randomize say 20 tracks (again) and just flushing out tunes that were already played.

This would give DJs the possibility to either

• build normal playlists for very specific playorders or such.
• use intelligent playlist to put structure to our music, or
• use a smart playlist in a creative way, by allowing it present us with music in a more randomised and creative way (if one feel experimental)

I hope that made sense.
