Problem with the Beat button on the DDJ FLX 10

When I press the buttons to change the beat, nothing changes, and I don't know why because it's never worked on my controller. I don't know if there's a setting in Rekordbox that prevents me from changing it in the controller, or if the controller came with that setting damaged from the factory.
