Rekordbox 7.2.14 loading wrong track to XDJ-XZ over pro link in export mode

Hello, I'm running rekordbox 7.2.14 on export mode and have my xdj-xz plugged in. When I load a track using the physical controls on the XZ (rekordbox button, selecting playlist & track with the track selector knob) the wrong track will load up. It's always a song from the playlist i'm using, but it's more likely to load the wrong track than the right one. I've double & triple checked that i'm not making a mistake and it's definitely loading a different track thant the one I've selected. What can I do to fix this?
