Cannot import project into pc

I have the latest firmware for copycat and latest software verison of chordcat manager (windows). The device connects successfully to the chordcat manager and all the projects are listed. However only the demo projects are enabled but the project i created is grayed out and inactive and i cannot import it to my pc . The demo projects can be imported. The main purpose of the software should be to transfer my own projects not the demo ones. How can i achive that?
