XDJ-AZ Feature Request: Configurable Beat Jump Pad Layout

Please allow users to customize the Beat Jump pad values in standalone mode.

Current default:

  • 1/2
  • 1
  • 2
  • 4 beats

Suggested options:

  • 4 / 8 / 16 / 32
  • 8 / 16 / 32 / 64
  • User configurable values

House, techno, melodic and afro house DJs work with phrases rather than half-beat corrections. Constantly changing the Beat Jump size during a performance slows down workflow and increases the chance of mistakes. Since the XDJ-AZ already supports Beat Jump values up to 128 beats, this appears to be a firmware limitation rather than a hardware limitation.

I would also add one sentence that carries weight:

The XDJ-AZ is marketed as a club-standard standalone system, so customizable Beat Jump pads would bring its workflow closer to what professional DJs expect.

This is a realistic firmware request. It doesn't require new hardware, and it would improve the workflow for many DJs.
