Alphatheta XDJ-AZ - Audio Pops in Recordings

Looking for some help please - I'm at a loss.

I am experiencing audio pops when I am recording into Audacity or BUTT streaming software.

I previously thought it was my laptop and discovered its not as the same thing is happening on my brand new Dell Laptop.

The recordings are clear and no issues when I am recording straight onto USB on the AZ itself.

The issue appears to happen when I am recording out via audio interface or even via the USB C socket from the AZ directly into the laptop.

I have tried playing about with various buffer settings and ensuring my laptop mirrors the 44 KHZ etc etc. I even bought a cheaper Behringer audio interface to see if the issue was my Arturia Minifuse audio interface - but the exact same thing happens.

I don't know what else to do - so really at a loss!
