A9 sound problem - had to power off to clear it

Club A9 about 2.5 years old. Almost daily use.  One hour into my set, the sound distorted with a high pitch.  Attaching an quick sample of the recording.  Turned the Hi eq down at the end to help but you can still hear very distorted sound.  Any ideas or experience with this?  Had to power A9 off and on to clear it.  Thank god that worked.  link  to sample below:
