DDJ FLX 4 Flashing midi light

Hi, my controller won't seem to work. It worked for like 6 weeks then one day, the MIDI ligth started flashing and the controller no longer shows in rekordbox. I'm using a 2020 macbook air, 8GB

Hi there,

Please try the following steps to connect devices:

  1. Close all applications
  2. Connect the FLX4 to your computer.
  3. Launch rekordbox and check its operation.
  4. Try to reconnect the controller while rekordbox is open.

If issue persists, please check the following:

  • In rekordbox, go to Preferences > Audio > Configuration, and confirm that DEVICE is selected under Audio.
  • At the bottom of the Configuration panel, verify that DDJ-FLX4 is displayed under Control Device Information.

If it stil doesn't show, it could be System Setting issue, please check the following.

1. Full Disk Access

Path:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access

Action:

  • Add and enable Rekordbox

2. Local Network

Path:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network

Action:

  • Enable Rekordbox
