XDJ AN- Color FX Problem
Obviously it is a relatively new piece of hardware. But, I noticed while practicing last night that the Color FX feature, which is now built into the screen; does not work. I'm not sure if it was because I was using my MAC as the input, but I could not even press the FX option on the screen. Every tutorial out shows the FX Menu open already.
I'm hoping once I use it as a standalone and just plug in a USB I'll be able to use them. For now I'm nervous that something is wrong with the controller.
Any idea what could cause the problem?

I believe the FX panel does not open when the UTILITY MIXER MODE is set to MIDI Control; you would likely select the FX type within the DJ application itself.
If you are using rekordbox for Mac/Windows as your DJ application, selecting "EXTERNAL" within rekordbox will allow you to open the FX panel.
