Hi, 

I have this loud hissing noise when de MIC is "ON" on the RX3. Even when I'dont have a microfoon and cable hooked up to the RX 3. This is only the case with active speakers. I use the EVOLVE 50 (smallers events) and EVOLVE 90 for bigger events

I read the other posts about this problem but there was no solution mentioned.

After a couple of days on the internet (Google) I found this 2 solutions.

1. You can turn of the MIC on the RX3 --> not the most convenient one.

2. There is an option in the UTILITY menu called : MASTER ATTENUATOR. 

Sets the attenuation level of the sound output from the [MASTER 1] and [MASTER 2] terminals.
• Setting values: -12dB, -6dB, 0dB*
The 0dB is the factory setting.

I change the values to -12dB and -6 dB. This is causing the hissing to go away.
What I can't find on the internet; Does this have consequences for the overall performance of the RX3?
