MIDI light flashing and computer not registering the device

I've been trying to troubleshoot this on my own for the last few days. I don't know why you don't have a customer service email, but anyway...

The MIDI light has been flashing, but I haven't been able to get it to connect to rekordbox. It's not showing up in the audio section, and I can't figure out what's wrong with it. Can you help me troubleshoot this or let me know what I should try next?
