XDJ XZ sound card
Can't set up xdj xz sound card.
Tested in windows 10 / 11 and also mac osx. mojave / sierra / tahoe m1 also intel.
Latest version of all firmware 1.26, latest version of rekordbox.
Midi is functional in rekordbox, but can't set up sound.
Could the DNP2960-A board be defective?

The fact that MIDI works but the XDJ-XZ doesn’t appear as an audio device is the important clue here.
Since you’ve already tested multiple computers, Windows/macOS and different USB cables, I’d first check whether the XZ appears as an audio device in the operating system itself, before troubleshooting rekordbox further.
If it doesn’t appear at OS level after a clean driver installation and direct USB connection, then I’d start suspecting the XZ’s USB/audio interface hardware rather than rekordbox.
I wouldn’t replace the DNP2960-A yet, though. I’d isolate the USB/audio path first.
