DJM v10 Settings issue

hi all the functions including the settings on the mixer lcd screen will not open and the MULTI I/O button will switch not on as well I have downloaded a firmware update (its currently 1.11) to a fat 32 usb stick but it wont upload this showing an error 001 any help appreciated.
