DDJ-REV5 crossfader missing lots of data, even after repair

I bought a REV5 with a crossfader problem that I documented on this reddit post. After troubleshooting with Algoriddim, and again with Pioneer extensively, Pioneer concluded that the unit was faulty and had me return it for a brand new one.

The brand new unit had the SAME issue. After working tests with Pioneer support, they told me the crossfader just needs calibration, and to send it in to be repaired. After several weeks, the repair shop called me and said they did all calibration, diagnostics and tests, and unfortunately this is just how the Magvel fader operates. According to him, when you are unable to smoothly fade from one deck to another, with the REV5 not sending MIDI data to the device, it's just working correctly.

This obviously cannot be true. I need someone from Pioneer to help with this nightmare. Attached are graphs of the missing MIDI data, AFTER this supposed repair was performed.
