CDJ 3000X BROWSER SEARCH ISSUE

Dear AlphaTheta Support Team, I am contacting you to report a display issue I have encountered with the CDJ-3000X running firmware version 1.41. When scrolling rapidly through the track list, track names temporarily disappear from the display for approximately one second before reappearing. The screen does not go completely black; instead, the track names and list entries briefly disappear, making browsing less smooth and potentially affecting the user experience during live performances. What makes this particularly noticeable is that I do not experience the same issue on the original CDJ-3000 under comparable conditions. The track list remains visible and browsing is smooth, even when scrolling quickly. As a professional DJ who relies on fast and reliable track browsing during live sets, I find this behavior concerning, especially on a flagship player such as the CDJ-3000X. Could you please investigate whether this is a firmware-related issue and confirm whether it is a known bug? I would appreciate it if this could be forwarded to your engineering team for further investigation and, if necessary, addressed in a future firmware update. Device: CDJ-3000X Firmware: Version 1.41 Issue: Track names/list entries temporarily disappear when scrolling rapidly through the track list Comparison: The same behavior does not occur on the original CDJ-3000 under comparable conditions. Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Dimitris Karakostas Professional DJ Greece

i have seen this issue too... and also agree the CDJ-3000 didn't have the issue but the CDJ-3000x does. and sometimes when scrolling fast it would freeze up or hang up a second and then start working again

i have the most current firmware on my CDJ-3000x... and have posted a ticket with them 2 months about about this problem... no word yet on the fix.

That’s right! Also I noticed something else today! When I’m playing two tracks together, for example, with correctly set beatgrids and a stable BPM of 82, if I manually engage a loop with Quantize enabled (without using Sync), the tracks suddenly drift out of alignment during the mix, and the track starts running ahead when it shouldn’t!

As soon as I exit the loop, everything automatically goes back to normal.

This is really strange and needs to be fixed. It seriously affects performance and makes mixing much more difficult.

I also have videos demonstrating the issue if you need them.

its why i sold the O.Q., they said it was an issue on my end with a large library and to roll back to older FW, not sure how they can blame my library when all versions worked great until a recent update. lol   once they said that i sold it went to Rane

Yes, I understand, but for a piece of equipment that is still relatively new to the market and is supposed to be better than the previous model, these kinds of issues simply shouldn’t happen!

They really need to fix this once and for all. These players cost an absolute fortune, and they shouldn’t be failing to perform properly!

yes i agree.. the CDJ-3000 unit doesn't have this issue and the CDJ-3000X does... and the x has a faster chip and processor so it should handle it no problem... and i agree the size of the collection shouldn't matter either. i use the same SSD on the CDJ-2000NX2 and the older 3000 and no issues. it only has the issue on the CDJ-3000X with my 39,000 dj tracks.

That’s not normal! They must fix this issue! Im waiting response!
