DDJ1000 power consumption question

Hi,

Does anyone know the wattage of a DDJ1000 controller?

Trying to figure out what portable power supply to get for some outdoor action!

Thanks

Jay

Power Requirements: 120 VAC, 60 Hz
Rated Current: 0.9 A
Rated Output: 12 VDC, 3 A
Power Consumption: 12 VDC, 2 A
Power Consumption (Standby): 0.4 W

You will need to base the battery or generator on the Amp hours and output to satisfy the 12VDC,2A needs of the gear.  If you're running powered speakers or lights or any other needs, I always recommend getting more power than you think you'll need.  That way you get more time and gear if a client needed something for power, you could supply it without worry.

Adam

I've just done a page on powering the DDJ-1000 from a battery for anyone coming across this question looking for answers, its at https://skankydj.com/equipment/battery-powered-pioneer-decks
