nexus fw updates
guys just wanting a bit of general advice. im sitting on Ver.1.06 fw just now. If you had 1.06 would you update?
looking at the forums there have been a few bugs with 1.20 and 1.13, should i wait? i dont have any issues at the moment playing over the LAN

If you have no issues then I personally recommend you hold off, 1.13 was good but 1.20 has messed up the needle strip during searching. Freezes the decks at times.
I have been using 1.20 with a USB drive and have been ok so it may just be when linked to the laptop where the issue happens
also on 1.20 I had a track last night with 3 hot cues take up to 15 seconds to load before I could play it, was pretty annoyed as I was in a rush to drop the track
I tested the firmware initially on sd card and never had any issues at all in the few hours I played.
When I went to make a mix the other week connecting via rekordbox over link I came across the same issue everyone's mentioned

@Brichi - I've got the "now loading" back this weekend on the FW 1.20. First it crashed on an mp3 that i've been playing for more than 6 months, after that "now loading" on every track (as the youtube-clip shows that I posted a couple of months ago here). Only thing to do was to reboot the CDJ's.
I'm re-analysing all the tracks, transporting to a newly formated USB AGAIN?!?!?!, let's see if this is a quick fix. I am so tired of the nexus right now...

yup, so aggravating, I never know when the deck just may not load up in time to play right away. I hope they fix this mess soon
Just following-up on some dormant threads; did this get resolved?
I haven't had this issue in a long time. tracks have been loading fine along with the hot cues
We'll consider it solved, if a related issue arrises, repost and link this thread.
