Will a DDJ-SP1 work in tandem / together with a DDJ-XP1?

I have a DDJ-1000 & DDJ-XP1 tandem;  would adding a DDJ-SP1 work, and would it be fully functional?  I'm missing the old school 3-knob FX's.  PadFX is fine and all, but they're GATED.

Yes! The DDJ-SP1 works great with rekordbox.
