Recommend the optional cables please (USB / Digital Out)
Hey! Just got my CDJ-2000's love em so far. Had some fun playing off my thumb drive, but now I want to wire them up proper. Is there any thing to look out for when buying a USB cable for MIDI and HID functionality? Type A to B, correct? Any recommendations?
And how about that Digital Out? Could I use just use a regular RCA (Like a red cable for the right deck, and a white for the left maybe? haha...) Its the same type of cable right? Not sure how to properly configure that with my DJM-800...
Any insight is much appreciated :-)

I think the RCA cable will work for Digital, but if you're concerned about it you can check online music shops for Sp/DIF cables. Honestly, though..... they'll probably just charge a lot of money for little noticeable difference in quality.
And yes, standard A-B USB cable. Just be warned ahead of time..... be VERY careful when plugging and unplugging the USB from the CDJ-2000. There are many reports of users with broken ports.
Any cable will work but 75ohm cables are what's recommended for digital use.
Assuming that this isn't advertising other people's products, the Qunex QED P75 digital co-ax cables are great, and at a great price on their website at the moment (1/2 price). Got them connecting my CDJ900s to my DJM900, and had no problems so far!
