DJM900NXS + Traktor = Freeze + BEEEEEP
Has anyone experienced this? Loading up Traktor (latest version, 2.7.3), connecting the MACs USB to the DJM900NXS and using External mode to mix. I'm using the latest driver: DJM-900nexus_M_1.3.0_GK.dmg
Several moments into my set, and the DJM freezes, throws a loud continuous BEEEP. Traktor keeps running.
The DJM stops responding, I have to turn it off then on, then the music continues.
This happens each time I use this combo.
Any suggestions?

Has it ever happened before this combination of software, drivers and firmware?
Yes it happens quite often. Same equipment.
I mean has it happened with other driver versions, firmware versions, operating system, Traktor version, etc...?
No. I have not experimented with other setups. Just this one. My fear is going to a club and that could happen live on stage.
Hi I have to make a slight correction, the firmware of my mixer is 1.28
Nonetheless, the club I'm playing at tomorrow has a DJM900Nexus, I couldn't take the risk of freezing and will have to use an external soundcard... sad face.
Could you first try updating the firmware? The current version is 1.31; instructions and download file are here.
