prevent addition to collection
is it possible to play tracks in rekordbox performance mode without adding these tracks to my collection? In this case somebody brings a USB stick with music I don't have and want in my collection, but do want to play it on that occasion.

Yes, you can load it if they've prepared it as an export device in rekordbox themselves, and then it will have the beat grid / hot cues / etc., or if it's just an audio file, you would load it directly to a player from the drive as the location in the Explorer branch of the tree, but then it would require analysis and would thus be added to the collection.
